Science and Technology Advisor Dr. Saleh Uddin Ahmed said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been asked for three-billion-dollar financial assistance. Everyone should be vigilant so that this money is not wasted. We have taken responsibilities - not power; in our time people's money will not be allowed to be wasted anymore.

Mentioning 'responsibility-not power', the advisor said, if your contribution to the society or the country fails, people will speak against it. It may not be very fast, but at least slowly, the work needs to be changed. You must contribute. Everyone’s cooperation will be need.

The former Bangladesh Bank governor said these points while speaking at a meeting with the heads of various departments in the conference room of his ministry in the secretariat on Thursday (September 05). In the event, the senior secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Md. Mokabbir Hossain and senior officials of various departments and organizations were present.

Advisor to the heads of departments and organizations of the Ministry of Science and Technology Dr. Saleh Uddin Ahmed said that the use of science and technology is very important in implementing the development activities of the country. Development will not be meaningful if the output of scientific research are not useful.

He said, the livestock and fish production of our country has increased as a result of research and application of research. There has been a lot of improvement in this regard. Let people feel that there is a ministry called science and technology. The Ministry's work is not finished with Rooppur alone. You have to prove it with your own work.
